Hello! Otaku Here~ My next manga to be reviewed is... D.Gray Man! Now, i realize that its a rather... popular book right now, so it'll be superbly extraordinary to find a manga fan who hasn't read it..... but never the less, i will full-fill my destiny AND BRING YOU THE REVIEWS! back to topic, D.Gray Man is a very action packed book that starts out with young and mature Allen walker. His not so responsible master that has disappeared and sent Allen walker to go to the mysterious "black order". Allen cant remember his childhood very well, but he does remember mana. Mana was like a father to him, the father he never had. But when Mana dies from a sudden death, poor young Allen cant handle it (He was about 10 years old). While he was visiting Manas Grave the day of his death, he quickly realizes he isnt alone. A troll-like-man steps out the shadows, and offers Allen a choice he never believed existed. He offers to bring Mana back to life! All he would have to do is call out Mana's name in front of a metal skeleton that appeared rather magically out of nowhere. Allen couldn't stop himself, and does as the Man says. As he later figures out, it was one of the worst decisions he made in his entire life. Allen was actually an exorcist, a human blessed by god to rid the land of akumas and collect innocence, the stuff the story revolves around. (which btw is just another word for demons, which is what exorcists rid the world of). And the Man-Troll thing he had talked to was the Millennium Earl, creator of the akumas! Young allen calls out Manas name, and Manas soul is transferred into the Metal skeleton. Mana is now an akuma. He may be in the skeleton, but he dosent control it. The Millineum earl Gave the akuma the order to kill allen and wear his skin. Allens anti akuma weapon fires up, and he is left with only one choice, to kill Mana. As Allen is fighting Mana, he scratches Allens eye and cheek. It turns out that it was a curse by Mana, that allowed allen to see the soul inside the akumas. After he fights and kills Mana, General Cross, Allens to-be-master, offers an apprenticeship to allen. Of course Allen takes up the offer, since he has nowhere to go. And so, he lives with Mana For the next 6 years of his life, paying his bills, dealing with Crosses personnel problems, putting food on the table, etc. But when Cross suddenly disappears, Allen has to go to the black order, the home of the exorcists. AND ALLENS JOURNEY BEGINS~~ he becomes a full fledged exorcist and takes on the quest to rid the world from evil! thats enough reveiw fer this book... ill come back and add some things to it later though. and sorry for any typos, i didn't check this review >.<
